剧情简介
“If you go to college, you can do anything”, “Okay, okay...” The high school student daughter, who used to casually brush off her mother’s nagging while driving her to school, makes a tragic decision that forever changes their lives one day. The police, investigating incidents centering around typical teenage problems, like school violence and random chatting apps, gradually uncover a twisted and distorted motherdaughter relationship, which they never suspected before as they gather testimonies from those around them. Returning to the screen after six years, Jang Seo Hee delivers a realistic performance as the determined and intrusive mother, who actively intervenes in her daughter’s life for the sake of her success. This gripping thriller explores the extent to which the overwhelming actions of controlling parents, driven by a sense of compensation for their past struggles, can lead to immense tragedy. It resonates with the audience, sounding a solemn alarm about the consequences of such behavior in a closely observed and realistic setting.
