Father's flight was delayed, but the guests are welcomed as a matter of course by his mother and sister, who live together. The women's routine existence, quiet in its remoteness, is interrupted by the children's energetic presence. As the scorching hot days go by, everyone tries to relate to each other. Is it a language barrier that renders meaningful conversation all but impossible? For her feature debut, Salka Tiziana was inspired by her own childhood memories of summers in the Sierra Morena.
