In "Zum Beispiel, Bresson", Theodor Kotulla, working for the magazine "Filmkritik", observed director Robert Bresson filming "Mouchette". The title of the short portrait film was inspired by Bresson's film "Zum Beispiel, Balthasar" in which the life of a donkey – as a pet, circus attraction, and beast of burden – is retraced with intensity.
