《機器造人》是部詩意的紀錄片，觀看焊接工、成衣廠女工、木匠等各式勞動者工作百態。影片中的工人們熟練地操作機器，除了休息時間之外，雙手幾乎沒有停過。導演以頌曲形式構成影片，讓勞工以獨語、和鳴的細膩方式，呈現人力逐漸被機器規訓的過程，也呈現人與物的關係。
